Psalm 127:4 says, "Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the sons born in one's youth." A skilled warrior knows how to use his arrow, but children can be difficult to teach at times. The focus of this podcast is to equip parents to tune their bow and become skilled warriors as they train their children to go into the world. Sermon on the Mount – Asking for Blessing
What does it mean to ask God for things? A lot of people think it is focused on improving yourself or gaining certain things, but Matt and Tim want to bring a different perspective. God blesses believers so that they may be a blessing to others. In fact, when we treat others the way we want to be treated, Jesus said that this is the main focus of the Law and the Prophets! Listen to how God's blessings are not meant for us to hold on to but pass along for His glory and the good of others.
